An Update
POSTED ON May 28th, 2008 BY Calvin

Hello to all you b-boys, b-girls, friends, family, writers, graphic designers, bored people, or whoever else you might be. Thanks for visiting the site.

Here at More Than A Stance, we figured it was about time for an update to let you know what’s going on with us and with the site. Don’t worry — we’re not ready to fade into b-boy oblivion like so many other ill-fated sites.

We’re still hammering away at a number of exciting projects and stories. We don’t want to give away too much, but suffice it to say that our interview with Cros1 had us giving hand-props to our monitors for the knowledge he dropped. Also, CypherStyles was nice enough to let us review some of the freshest DVDs (both in terms of new-ness and “good”-ness) that have hit the market. Expect to see updates to the features section in the next few weeks.

But in the meantime, feel free to drop us a line. Like what we do? Hate what we do? Have suggestions or criticisms? Want to see someone you know featured here? Want to write for us? Have a question about something you’ve seen? Think that we’re pretentious wanna-b-boys who don’t know what we’re talking about? Whatever. We just want to hear from you. We’ve just gotten started, and this is more about uplifting the culture and the future than it is about uplifting ourselves.

So, if you’re feeling generous, bookmark the page, tell a friend about the site, and send some words our way. And while you’re at it, be sure and congratulate Paul — the guy who basically does everything important on this site — on his engagement.

Stay fresh!
