Einstein vs. Picasso – B-Boy Battle – UPDATED
POSTED ON October 5th, 2008 BY Paul
South Korean artist Kim Gyeong-ryeol has decided, for some great yet perplexing reason, to create an exhibit of historical figures reimagined as b-boys. The piece above is of Picasso and Einstein. The image may be distorted, or that may just be how Kim is making them (click here to see it unstretched). Whichever it may be, it’s definitely a unique concept.
UPDATE: I looked up the gallery that’s hosting the show and found that you can preview all of the pieces in the exhibit. Looks like they are all stretched on purpose. Click here to view them.
Also, be sure to check out the “Critic” tab, where you can read the extremely wordy motivation behind this series.
