As a b-boy/journalist, I’m way late in posting this trailer, but as a human being, I wish I never had to watch or think about this in the first place.

Okay, so I’ll admit that the bit with the guy headspinning into the ground was kinda funny. And, as is the case with a lot of mainstream movies coming out lately, it seems like they’ve hired some dope b-boys for the part.

But honestly, it is even worth parodying a film genre that is already a parody of b-boy culture? That’s like parodying a Weird Al parody, or spoofing a movie spoof on YouTube, or putting Kanye’s new album through Auto-Tune … again.

In any case, Dance Flick is scheduled for release on February 6.

Hopefully, there will be more of you hyped to dance in the theater lobbies than there will be those of you who are just shaking your head in shame after the movie’s over.
