Lil Mama Still Doesn’t Know Anything about Anything – 308

If nothing else, the season finale of America’s Best Dance Crew reflected just how deeply b-boying has invaded the public consciousness through popular media.
Like it or not, the two final crews were both prominent b-boy and b-girl crews that brought b-boyism, Nike Windrunners, and Madcon’s “Beggin” to MTV. Hell, the trophy given to the winners by Randy Jackson was even called the “Golden B-Boy” (seriously?)
With three consecutive wins from b-boy crews, it seems that b-boying and its manifestations on stage have become a necessity for the show’s contestants.
And of course, there was no shortage of life lessons from Lil Mama–nuggets of wisdom I like to call Lil Mama-isms.
- G.O.P. is Latin. That’s what they do.
- Tonight, you have given hope and inspiration to young girls—and woman—all over the globe.
- Let me tell you, let me tell you bof, let me tell you bof. You bof are like superheroes. I didn’t tell you, you guys remind me of the Ninja Turtles. My brother used to love the Ninja Turtles.

my favorite lil mama comment from the show, in reference to an all girl crew
“what i liked most… you did it like men.”
