Using the Floor as a Canvas–Literally
POSTED ON March 17th, 2009 BY Calvin

Sami “Twister” Amdounivia is a b-boy who literally paints the floor with his b-boying moves. (In the video above, you’ve got to respect how he uses certain poses and transitions out of habit even though they don’t leave any visible marks on the floor.)

It’s definitely an interesting concept, especially if you imagine the different variations you could achieve using different b-boys and b-girls with different styles.

Of course, you’d have to convince them first that it’s worth the risk of messing up their gear if they don’t have backup shoes and clothes.

It remains unknown whether Twister’s made any money from this project, but it definitely seems like a sort of thing that might be fun for a pre-b-boy barbecue now that the weather’s warming up.

Check out Twister’s blog here.

I can’t help but notice that he’s wearing an all white jumpsuit with a big black hole/paint splotch on his crotch.

What’s the final picture supposed to be??

Yo, thanks for the comment. I’m guessing that Twister would probably argue that it’s not supposed to “be” anything other than what it already is
