Yesterday BBC News put together what looks like a last minute report on b-boys in the streets of Newcastle. They never actually name the event, but the b-boys are there for Breakin’ Convention, an event which attracts b-boys and b-girls from all over the world. They wouldn’t let me embed the video, so I’ve posted a ridiculous screenshot above.

The reporter is clueless, but he knows it. He pokes fun at himself for his lack of hipness and even lets the viewer know about the difference between “breakdancing” and “b-boying.” And after an interview with Ken Swift, I’d say the video probably earns more credibility than news reports three times as long.

But by far the best part of the video is his attempt to close it with some b-boy style. See the pic above for his attempt at a b-boy stance. “In da house…. IN IT!”
