“Fame” Poster Pisses Me off More than It Should

Since when does a poorly executed move on a worldwide poster represent anything other than someone who knows absolutely nothing about b-boying? Granted, the film isn’t about b-boying, but I can’t help but feel like if they’re going to represent it at all, they can at least find someone who knows what they are doing.
Maybe I’m just turning into a grumpy old man, sitting around yelling, “THAT AIN’T HIP HOP!” at everything I see.

I agree with you, it’s just bad misrepresentation.
If you turn your head to the side you’ll see that he’s actually sliding..because it’s impossible to do a pike on bended finger tips.
You must not know bboy bended fingatipz then, he rock bended pikes everyday. Plus, him sliding makes it 12 times less hip hop anyway…
