Throwback: Vans “Breakers” Shoes

If all the recent shoe releases targeting b-boys seems a little familiar, it may be that you’re having a flashback to 1984, when the skateboarding shoe company Vans tried its hand at making some b-boy shoes.
They obviously weren’t the prettiest b-boy shoes around, but with a tagline like “Man, I need Vans Breakers/ Only For The Elite!” I can’t say that I would have been able to resist getting a pair. It’s just a little something to think about for all you b-boys and b-girls rocking Authentics and Eras.

I work for vans and i first found out about these during my interview…i was trippin out…then i saw this same poster in front of the fitting rooms..made me trip out even more.. i actually think vans should have another go at it and try to be more like redbull with the scene… check this out tho..
