Molotow’s Headspin Spray

The first time I saw somebody doing headspins, I just assumed it was some kind of trick. I was just an elementary school kid watching some weird public service announcement on TV with a song pronouncing that “nobody wants to be a dumb-dumb,” but even then I felt smart enough to discern that the idea of people spinning on their heads was absurd.
Well, it turned out that headspins really do exist, and there are even people who make special hats for it. And if that weren’t enough to satiate one’s completely unnatural desire to spin, upside-down, on one’s skull, renowned spray paint (ahem, graffiti) company Molotow makes a special spray for headspinning.
It’s advertised as a clear liquid “all-purpose siliconspray, long lasting, for interior and external area. Slide, separation and lubricants, isolating, odorless, grease-free, water-resistant.”
I don’t know what all that really means, but does that mean I can use it for things other than lubing up a beanie, and is that why it usually retails for around $10? Seems to me like it’ll still be a hard sell for b-boys who already use Pledge, the furniture cleaner that is the preferred lubricant of headspinners and the worst nightmare for all other b-boys and b-girls. Has anyone used this Molotow stuff? What do you think?
Click here for the official page and here for some retailers where you can cop it.

my mind is waaaaaay in the gutter for this one.
But i’ll cop one just for kicks and giggles. See if they improve the frictionless surface of my old and tearing spin caps.
interesting….
