Oh My Got!: Nike’s Huarache Dance Low

Yeah, yeah, this isn’t Nike’s first foray into the b-boy/b-girl market, and Nike is a major corporation that already makes tons of money, and all that, but — wow. Look at them.
I don’t even really like Nikes that much. But the legacy (and comfort!) of the already-legendary Huaraches — combined with something-or-another that gives it the “dance” label and a clean redesign? Sign me up.
I’m even willing to forgive the fact that Zappos describes them by saying, “Let ‘em bite your moves, your style and even your kicks—but no one’s going to be able to rock these Nike® Huarache Dance Low sneakers like you princess!” Wait, what? Still fresh!

These kicks are str8 up Booty! Original le’s are the only acceptable huarache in my eyes. Mids are cool but these are pure fuckery!!!!!

Huarache refers to the “sock” or “sandal” type fit to them. LE’s and trainers weren’t the only shoe to carry the Huarache branding/technology. Some air maxes had it, 180s, bursts, etc. In closing, definitely not imitation.
They kept a lot of the elements of the original Hurache LE like the strap on the back, the indention under the strap, the overall shape and texture of the shoe, and the lightness of the original. Added on to it you’ve got a sole designed specifically to be smooth where dancers want it smooth, and flexible where it needs to be flexible. This seems like a much more natural evolution of the original huarache LE than the shit that’s been coming out for the past 5 or 6 years. Most people seem to be hating just for the sake of hating.
Great looking shoe, definitely gonna try and get a pair.

best shoes for me to dance in is the Air Pegasus ’89 by nike… them joints are FRESH
I’m still a fan of Nike’s indoor soccer shoes. They feel light while you dance and make threading easier.
