A few weeks back I was turned on to a podcast out of North Carolina called Stone Groove. There are 15 shows available for free on iTunes, ranging from 15 to 54 minutes and all mixed by DJ Sonar and DJ Scrunchyface Flatbroke (great name).

Here’s what Sonar had to say:
“The Stone Groove features the dustiest crates of funk, soul, rap, and classic rock. I’m
wondering if you folks might take a listen to it and give us your opinions of it. (We’re always looking to improve.) The local crews here dig it and we want to spread our love of the funk to anybody else who would appreciate it.”

According to Sonar, each podcast normally starts off at a slower tempo which builds as the show goes on. The track selection is on point, as is the blending (although I have no DJ experience, so take that for what it’s worth). With close to 9 hours of music, we think you’ll find something you like.
