Homie Ill Boogs hit us up with some nice snippets from his upcoming release The Rhythm Den, mixed by the likes of Rob Etch and DJ Timber.

Says Ill Boogs:

The concept of ‘The Rhythm Den’ is basically inspired by all the Break Dj’s whose mixes I practise to and the feeling you get when you discover a new breakbeat. I wanted to make whole tracks to try and recreate the feeling I get when I first hear a song and a break suddenly drops out of nowhere.

The 70-minute LP/Mix of original productions and mixed breaks is set to drop on February 11 from Breakin’ Bread. Individual tracks will be available as downloads. Broken into four chapters using live instrumentation and samples, the release is a culmination of two decades of music production and almost three decades in hip-hop.
