Mouse Teams Up with ASICS for “Break Dancing Mat”
POSTED ON September 17th, 2009 BY CalvinSo, we’ve seen b-boying being used to sell video games, phones and credit cards. No surprise that it can also be effective for marketing shoes — again.
But as I saw over at Too Much Flavour, ASICS takes it to the next level with a “break dancing mat” — endorsed by Mouse, no less! The mat is said to help beginners learn by showing hand and foot placements for toprock, six step and the “wakfreeze.”
Wait, what? Is it really accurate to call this the “first ever break dancing mat”? Isn’t that what this was — much less every piece of linoleum that has ever been danced on by any b-boy? Fishy as it might seem, it does make me wish that my experiences dancing in the streets were half as fun as it looks in this commercial.
What do you think?

Yo, couldn’t find a specific spot where you can buy it, but you can always try e-mailing the people at Asics at info@asics.co.uk. Good luck!
