In the wake of MTV’s coverage of several major b-boy films and battles, MTV2 recently aired a short series called The Elements NYC: The Five Pillars of Hip-Hop.

Each episode seeks to expose NYC’s cultures with regard to the elements of hip-hop, including beatboxing.

The fourth episode covers b-boying. A little over five minutes long, it’s nothing too earth-shattering and it doesn’t go into too much detail, but it is an interesting peek into the minds of some of NYC’s b-boys and b-girls as they talk about session spots, battling, and battle personas.
