Xbox’s Project Natal Could Mean the Hardest B-boy Game Ever
POSTED ON June 2nd, 2009 BY Paul

Look at that shit. It’s ridiculous. It’s against nature. It’s completely awesome.

Although I’d probably be satisfied with a game where I just jump around and watch my onscreen avatar follow me, I’m pretty sure game developers have some other ideas. And with gamers having full use of their bodies, you know there are going to be some dance games.

My only hesitation is that isn’t the point of playing B-Boy on PS2 the fact that I can’t in fact do elbow spins like Physix, or footwork like Crazy Legs? I’m sure developers will find a way around that (I think their lawyers might be nervous about a game that makes 9-year-olds try to spin on their heads), but I’m not quite sure how they’ll do it.

lol this is going to create a whole new era of internet bboys. Starting beef through online battles and the “no touching” rule in bboying is now on a whole new level.
Kids are gonna start learning how to fight through Street Fighter pull out a hadoken in the middle of a fight. Forget physicx elbow spins how are we gonna do Liu Kang’s bicycle kick? or Raiden’s teleport?
I seriously think this is gonna create a whole new set of problems in the world, but at least we’ll have less fat kids.
Soon we’ll just have virtual jams. Bboys don’t leave their studios and battle through holographic images.
