Tweaking the “B-Boy in Music Video” Idea
POSTED ON August 19th, 2009 BY Paul

This music video by Mims takes the popular idea of “let’s throw some breakdancers in our video” and gives it a unique spin (hur hur). Most music videos just get some b-boys and b-girls to do headspins, windmills, and flips in the background as eye candy. But this video is completely different because it gets b-boys and b-girls to do headspins, windmills, and flips in the background as eye candy while making them go backwards and forward in time.

Ok, so it’s not really that different and and maybe even a little offensive. Can you forgive me for still thinking it’s cool looking enough to show you?

Hate me in the comments, but admit it, slow motion headspins reversing and un-reversing looks dope.

EDIT: Looks like we’ve already posted about this video, but Calvin encouraged me to leave my post up. Probably because my post kicks so much more ass than his.
