As we wrote about here, Jon Chu (of “Step Up 2: The Streets” and “Step Up 3-D” fame) has been working on a new online series featuring pretty much every commercially attractive American b-boy/b-girl ever.
The newest trailers give us a bit more insight into what we can expect: lots of slow motion shots, an even more gratuitous number of backlit scenes, and a Heroes-meets-Step Up plot — dancers, who are the world’s true “heroes,” are fed up with being upstaged by other performers and begin a “dance revolution” (seriously?) as either good guys or villains.
Questions of “Should we support this as a b-boy community?” aside, it does look like it’d make for some good eye candy.
Is it really “the next evolution of dance?” Eh, probably not, but as far as publicity, big names and overindulgent production value go, this might just make a ripple.

fck the dancing, go make a series. lol
Yes we should absolutely support something like this.
People have been using dance to tell stories for a long time. Why keep bboying inside of a box that is only for ‘us’?
looks corny as fuck
fck the series, go make a dancing. haha
Of course support it.
It looks great, nice photography.
