Hip-hop is all about matching. Whether it’s matching your shoes to your hat, or your toprock to the beat, or one breakbeat to the next, there’s something beautiful about those moments where things just come together perfectly.

Skeme Richards (who we interviewed here), of course, knows all about matching, whether its styles, music, or elements of hip-hop.

Constantly traveling the world as one of the world’s best b-boy – wait, no, hip-hop – wait, make that all-around DJs, he’s had a chance to network with some of the b-boy community’s biggest and most influential names. Simply put, Skeme seems to live the dream – the type of life that b-boys and b-girls would love to even steal a peek into.

So when he happened to mention that he loves to write, and I happened to mention that More Than A Stance is looking for contributors – well, let’s just say it was a pretty good match.

Fast forward a bit, and here we are with three brand-spanking new exclusive pieces from the infamous DJ himself. Because Skeme knows all the right questions to ask, there’s a lot of dopeness contained within this feature (which we dug into as eagerly as any of our readers).

Suffice it to say, this one will be difficult to match.

Enjoy.
